It's been almost a month that we have been studying and learning economic concepts in English. Most of the activities are listening and speaking with some boring reading and intensive writing.
Well... what do you think about language learning activities that we have done in class? Do you like them or not? Please share what you think in this webblog. Don't worry - your strong comments will surely not be counted as point reduction, but they will help improve our class activities.
The professor said study in the book is boring. I think so. I like to language learning activities in class. For example watching economics lecture in Youtube and listening a song.It interest. I think it was eye-opening, because normally I never listen to economics'song that it funny.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you since the first period we meet. You motivate students to use more English in class eventhough sometime we can't use English well. I really like the ways you teach us. I think they're good ways to improve English skill by using speaking and listening activities. As you know,wa have studied English for a long period but we don't understand what foreigners are talking about and we also can't communicate. I think because we have never use it in real life just remember the gramma or something else. So the activities that you prepare for us encourage students to use English more in real life which is the best way to be mastered in English in the future.

With the class content and less difficult to understand because it is basic economics, it's not good. But the study with a teacher is not too stressful. I teach a lot of fun. The story of the death factors.

In my opinion, I think that the teaching in the classroom is quite interesting and different. Practicing by listening to youtube is a lot better than listening to the CD. There are lots of examples in terms of stories which are the way to increase economics and regular knowledge for student and I like this way of teaching very much. However, the exam is a little bit too hard because it's all in writing form.

I think you are a weird teacher. I never study with lecture and listening the economic songs in YouTube before.But when I have been studying with you,you always teach me with these activities. I think it's a different teaching method but they're very funny and very helpful because they make me easily understand economic concepts,the important things they make the class carry on wearilessly

Before I study this class, I thought "EL241 is boring". Now I am studying. I'm happy. I love this class. If somebody asks me, why do you love to learn EL241? I will say "My teacher is very cute". He is a smart teacher. He always gives knowledge to his students. The activities in this class are very fun. I love a listening, especially the video on YouTube. He often told me about travelling abroad. That is his experience. It’s very nice and I love to hear it. About economic concepts, He teaches me very nice. He always told me about business news around the world after he read news in the morning. It opens my worldview. He teaches me that I should read a newspaper every day. I am very impressed when I study this class with “Arjan Moddy”. I intend to study this class and intend to get a result “A” for this class. 555+

Even though it's too late(or maybe) but i still want you to know that this class is such an interesting one!^^ i like the way you bring us singing an economics song. that can help me a lot. i like the way you say, it's so active and make us awake! i have a few idea but the most thing i want to tell you is, please keep doing the way you have done coz it's the best for learning English ... GDP is rising GDP is rising buy buy buy dollars in the sky... see? i can remember this easily and the last sentence for tonight ... please be kind for the exam ><

I like to study English but I think I didn't get enough knowledge form school.My high school English class was boring.So when I study with the professor, I am very surprise.He makes it different.He tells students about the useful economic informations and shows students the funny song about Economics.I love those songs! They are very creative.I want this class keep fun like this.^_______________^
