The Chinese mid-year, or lunar day, is full of energy for everyone, especially those who was born on monday.
For me, I had a lot of things to complete today, such as meeting for the Thailand's TQF, writing proposals for the government's urgent budget plan, running to class to teach with little preparation and running to collect my new glasses at CTW. It seems that I have exerted lots of my energy in this year's lunar day.
Astrologically, I believe that people who were born on Monday will get affected by the power of the moon. Plus, Monday people are charming because of the lunar light. ^^ But, since I have been single for ages, I'm now inclined not to exercise my charming anymore. My family will be meeting with relatives at the home of grandfather and will be a ceremony to worship the moon together.There are many desserts that are related to beliefs and traditions. That night we were eating dinner, talk and watch the moon together. Because my grandfather and grandmother is Chinese people are genuine was born in Thailand.The family will pay more attention to this very lunar day.

...That's a good day for everyone ^^ and me too. Although I am not Chinese but i was impressed on this day. I think that is spacial day for Chinese, it's call Lunar day. But i think that is spacial day for Thai too. For Thai people, this day has very important for people in southern of Thailand. But they call "Sart Daon Sib". They believed the ancestors who died. they were released for visited children within 15 days. The day will be a big merit, the children who went to work at different places will return home to send their ancestors.

ReplyDeleteBut I have nothing to do in that night. I just watched and ate the moon cake from S&P which I bought it at SevenEleven shop.
My family doesn't have blood relationship of chinese. But I have ever herd Lunar day I think it's very interesting. I like to eat moon cake very much. I think Lunar day is very fantastic because chinese people believes about the immortal and pay respect for the moon. And the Vegetarian Festival is Coming to good health and it is Philanthropy that this year I'm planning to eat a vegetarian food.

In every year, I am waiting for Lunar day because Lunar day is my lovely grandpa's birth day (count from chinese calendar).My family celebrate this 2 occasion at the same time ,we use moon cake for birth day cake. In this year we go to pattaya,my grandpa's hometown, and calebrate for important day.We have a dinner at restaurant and back home for celebration to the moon goddess.It is a very good moment , I love this day. ;D

I think It's just a festival of Chinese and I'm not a Chinese.but I like moon cake very much. My home is near a China town I always buy a lot of moon cake and eat them all in one day. Sometime,my neighbor bring a moon cake for my mom and i eat them all too. Last Lunar Day It's was not my Luck Day for me because when my mom come back home and knew about I ate a lot of moon cake. so I was been complained by my mom. After that had a stomachache. It's not a good day! I don't know. why? may be I because I'm not a Chinese,I'm a Thai people so I think I should respect river or more than or not.

Umm, I had done so many thing. First I wake up really early to day. I don't sure is it because of the power of the moon light that effect me from the water that I washed my face last night. From this point are you thinking that WTF are you doing? yeah I thought it strange too last night,However,I did that because I had searched from the google hoe to make my face clear and bright like you teacher Moddy. I read the article from www.dek-d.com that explain that if you washed you face with the water which have been shine with the moon light, it will make your face clear !! so I try it and it work

The most important part of this story is I don't even know that yesterday is Lunar day and every thing I do about the moon yesterday just come from the reason that I wan't to have a clear face. on the other hand if the reason that I did like that came from the power of the moon that wanted me to did like I did on that day .........
